What is PracticeNest?
A worksheet generator built for the Canadian curriculum
PracticeNest generates fresh, curriculum-aligned Math and Language Arts practice sheets for JK–Grade 8 on demand. Tell the advisor the topic and how long the sheet should run; it returns a complete worksheet with an answer key, aligned to the Ontario, Alberta, or BC curriculum, in about 30 seconds. It is an assistant for planning practice — you still decide what your class needs and when.
Aligned to your province
Ontario, Alberta, and BC — JK–Grade 8, Math and Language Arts. Every sheet cites the specific expectation it covers.
Differentiate in one click
Below, at, and above grade versions of the same sheet, generated together, so no student is singled out by the page in front of them.
No student data, ever
No names, no IDs, no rosters. Only your account and class-level metadata — nothing to upload and nothing to delete.
How it works
How do you make a class sheet in under a minute?
1
Set up your class once
Grade and province, and nothing else. That is all the tool needs to align every sheet you generate from then on.
2
Say what you are teaching
“Multi-digit subtraction with regrouping, two pages.” The advisor plans the questions against your curriculum and builds the sheet with a full answer key.
3
Print, edit, or differentiate
Print it as is, open it in Google Docs or Word to adjust, or hit three levels to get below / at / above grade versions of the same sheet.
See real generated sheets
Both were produced by PracticeNest in under a minute. Open either one to see the live Google Doc, answer key included.
PracticeNest collects only your teacher account and class-level metadata: grade, province, and subject focus. No student names, no student IDs, no rosters. There is nothing to upload, nothing to delete, and nothing to reconcile under FERPA, PIPA, or MFIPPA.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is PracticeNest?
PracticeNest is a Canadian AI tool that generates curriculum-aligned Math and Language Arts practice worksheets for JK–Grade 8 in about 30 seconds. You describe the grade, topic, and how long you want the sheet to run; it returns a complete worksheet with an answer key, aligned to the Ontario, Alberta, or BC curriculum, ready to print or edit.
How do I make worksheets aligned to the Ontario, Alberta, or BC curriculum?
Set your classroom's province once during setup. Every sheet you generate is then planned against that province's expectations for your grade, and ships with a specific-expectation citation you can drop straight into a newsletter or an admin report. You do not have to re-state the curriculum on each request.
What is a differentiated set?
One click generates three versions of the same sheet — below grade, at grade, and above grade — on the same topic and in the same layout, so students working at different levels get the right difficulty without the sheet looking different on the desk. Differentiated sets are part of the Teacher plan.
Do you collect any student information?
No. PracticeNest does not collect, store, or process student names, IDs, or any other student personal information. The only data we keep is your teacher account and class-level metadata — grade, province, and subject focus. This is a deliberate design choice: there is no roster to upload, nothing to delete, and nothing to reconcile under FERPA, PIPA, or MFIPPA.
What does it cost?
The free plan gives you 5 sheets per month with no time limit and no credit card. The Teacher plan is $14.99 CAD per month, or $99 CAD per year (save 45%), and includes unlimited class sheets plus up to 30 differentiated sets per month. It starts with a 14-day free trial that needs no credit card.

How is this different from Teachers Pay Teachers?
TpT is a marketplace where you browse or buy pre-made worksheets one at a time. PracticeNest generates a new, curriculum-aligned sheet on demand for the exact topic you need this week, and gives you three differentiated levels of it in one click. If you want a specific themed unit somebody else has already designed, TpT is often the better answer.
What grades and subjects are supported?
Junior Kindergarten through Grade 8, in Mathematics and Language Arts (English). Curriculum alignment currently covers Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia; other provinces are on the roadmap.
Can I edit the sheets before printing?
Yes. Every sheet exports to Google Docs, and the Teacher plan also exports to Word (.docx). Nothing is locked — change the wording, swap a question, add your school header, and print.
Can I expense this through my school?
You can purchase the Teacher plan on your own card and submit the receipt. For 5 or more teachers on one account we offer a School tier with PO billing and volume pricing — email hello@practicenest.ca.
Does this connect to Google Classroom?
Not yet — it is on the roadmap. For now you can export to Google Docs or Word and share through whatever your school already uses.
What happens when my trial ends?
Your account drops to the free plan — 5 sheets per month, the same generation pipeline, without differentiated sets. Nothing is charged and nothing is deleted. You can upgrade whenever you want.
